I remember enjoying a lot of the Mega Man music. But also the theme for the first area in Crystalis has stuck with me for ages.

I think the purpose was to have the humor be caused by the lack of context. If you look at the older posts by FlyingSquid, a lot of them are funny because the words take on a different meaning than what was originally intended.

Shadow of the Colossus has been a long-time favorite of mine. I also liked Fatal Frame. I think I also remember enjoying Rule of Rose, but I have very little memory of that one. I just remember it was weird.
